Kitchen recipeAt Z, the proportions are for 4 people, j I wanted double and I could do 13, but 13 very big ......
I find the dough not sweet enough but that's only my taste ....
200 g of flour
10 g of baker's yeast
4 tbsp. tablespoon powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
50 g softened butter
salt For leaven, stir yeast in 1/2 glass of warm water. Add 2 c. flour. Mix to obtain a soft paste. Place in a terrine and cover with a folded tea towel. Let stand about 30 minutes in a warm place until the dough has doubled in volume.Mix the rest of the flour with the sugar, 2 pinches of salt, the egg, the yolk and then the soft butter cream. When the mixture is homogenous, incorporate the leaven.
Knead by hand and form a ball. (It is kitchenaid that kneaded ....)
Put it back in a covered terrine and let rest for 2 hours.
Roll the dough with a thickness of 4 or 5 mm. Cut out discs in even numbers.
On half of the discs, place in the center of the jam and brush around the water.
Cover each disc with jam with another disc of raw dough. Make them adhere well.
Let it rest for another 20 minutes in a warm place.
Dip the donuts in the hot fry.
Sprinkle with icing sugar decor (moisture resistant)
Drain and serve warm or lukewarm sprinkled with icing sugar or granulated sugar.
